EcoStar™ HS1000 material, offering a minimum of 35% post-consumer content, provides exceptional heat-sealing capabilities. Compared to PVC, it seals quicker and at lower temperatures. As a result, it’s well-suited to a wide range of applications and doesn’t require new equipment for sealing and processing. Like PC50, HS1000 is used in Placon’s stock products and custom products, and is also available in bulk rollstock.

EcoStar™ Food Grade material offers a minimum of 35% post-consumer content, consisting of a multi-layer sheet with a virgin material outer layer for food contact and an inner layer (core) of recycled content. The material provides retailers with a viable environmental solution while showcasing a wide variety of deli foods, bakery items and fresh produce. Food grade material is available in Placon’s stock food products or custom food packaging.
